PostPrepHub is a small set of free tools for people who post videos and pictures online. It's run by one independent developer in the EU who also builds a few other free tool sites. No name and no photo, on purpose: the site is about the tools.
Why it exists
Most "downloader" sites do one thing: copy other people's videos, wrapped in pop-ups. What creators actually need day to day is smaller and more useful: the thumbnail of a video they're reviewing, a check that a thumbnail is readable on a phone, a caption that fits, hashtags that follow the new rules, chapters that YouTube accepts. That's what this site does, and nothing that copies someone else's video.
How the tools are made
- The tools are built and tested by the site's owner, with AI help for code and first drafts. Every rule a tool checks (character limits, hashtag limits, chapter rules, image sizes) comes from the platform's own help pages or developer docs, which are linked under each tool with the date they were last checked.
- The text, image and transcript tools run entirely in your browser. What you type or open never leaves your device.
- The link tools only use what a platform publishes for embedding (YouTube's thumbnail images, TikTok's embed service, and YouTube's official API where it's switched on).
- Every tool has automated tests, and platforms change: if a limit or a rule here is out of date, say so and it gets fixed.
Not affiliated
This site has no connection with YouTube, Google, TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Meta, X, Twitch or any other platform it mentions. Their names are used only to say which service a tool works with.
What this site will never do
- Download videos or audio, or help get around a platform's protections.
- Ask for your passwords or log in to your accounts.
- Hide paid relationships. Ads, when the site shows them, are labelled "Advertisement".
